In January 135 students from across the U.S. and Canada kicked off 2020 with clear insights into the world of surety, when they attended the 2020 NASBP William J. Angell Surety School and Sales Workshop, which were held in Dallas, TX.

Sales WorkshopThis year’s newly expanded Sales Workshop was hosted for the first time in conjunction with the NASBP Surety School. During the day-and-a-half Sales Workshop students learned to define and hone their personal sales and marketing process and address the tools and techniques that simplify the process of building a social marketing strategy.

At every NASBP School, the students in each class identify the student whom they consider to be the most outstanding pupil (MOP) to receive a memento signed by all the members of the class and faculty. Receiving the coveted football in Level I Red Team was Christina Rogers of Performance Bonding Surety & Insurance Brokerage, L.P., Tustin, CA. The Level I Yellow Team chose Kyle Woods of FCCI Insurance Group, Sarasota, FL. The Level II Blue Team selected Miller Hilliard of R.A. Brunson, Inc., Baton Rouge, LA; and Level II Green Team selected Danette Beck of USI Insurance Services, Valhalla, NY. Congratulation to all of these outstanding students!
