Over the past 10 months, the NASBP Leadership and staff have witnessed tremendous support from Members, Affiliates, and Associates who have been working to “Be Present”—even when faced with obstacles. The April 28 NASBP Virtual Annual Meeting Event will be a time to celebrate how we as an Association and an industry have prevailed through the pandemic by being present with clients, colleagues, friends, and family and to contemplate what our future holds.

President Mark Munekawa encourages everyone to save the date for the April 28 NASBP Virtual Annual Meeting Event, “Present Through the Unprecedented: A Positive Look Towards Our Future.” The 2021 NASBP Virtual Annual Meeting Event will kick off with remarks from the NASBP Leadership, followed by the announcement of the 2021 Bruce T. Wallace Award and John “Jack” J. Curtin, Jr. President’s Award winners.

Then, the event will launch into two special sessions—the first, a roundtable panel session with the current NASBP Officers discussing association topics and initiatives with an eye on what’s next. The second session will focus on future industry opportunities and updates. More information to come.

The 2021 NASBP Virtual Annual Meeting Event will conclude with the announcement of the 2021-2022 NASBP Leadership and an address from the incoming 2021-2022 NASBP President Tracy Tucker.

New and unique to the 2021 NASBP Virtual Annual Meeting, NASBP will be offering “Virtual Networking Spaces” hosted by NASBP Elite Sponsors, the highest level of sponsors of the NASBP Virtual Annual Meeting Event. These “Virtual Networking Spaces” will be held immediately following the NASBP Virtual Annual Meeting Event, adding a social experience to the event and a chance for attendees to touch base with top NASBP surety executives and underwriters.

NASBP will hold the NASBP Virtual Board of Directors Meeting on April 27, the day prior to the NASBP Virtual Annual Meeting Event. All NASBP Members, Affiliates, and Associates are invited to participate. No fee is required to participate in the Virtual Board of Directors Meeting, and you can register to participate from the 2021 NASBP Virtual Events page.

As is the case with prior NASBP Virtual Events, all 2021 NASBP Virtual Events will be complimentary to NASBP Members, Affiliates, and Associates and will be available to non-members for a small fee. Anyone can review the four 2020 NASBP Virtual Events at the NASBP Virtual Events website.
