NASBP is busy planning for the 2023 Annual Meeting & Expo that will be held April 30 – May 3 at The JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort in Marco Island, FL. The resort encountered only minor damage from this fall’s Hurricane Ian. It is back in tip-top shape and ready to welcome NASBP in April. This beachfront resort is truly one of a kind, and we plan to incorporate all it has to offer into the program for our event. Pictured is Quinn’s pool at sunset.

The NASBP Program Committee has worked hard to craft and develop sessions, including a keynote presentation, “The Champion’s Code,” by bestselling author Ross Bernstein, which will dive into the DNA of champions in sports and how that relates to business. On the second day of sessions, the program will feature an economic update from Associated Builders and Contractors Chief Construction Economist, Anirban Basu. Also, in 2023 there will be new additions to the agenda, including additional opportunities for the spouses and guests to network.

The meeting will officially kick off on Sunday evening with a laid-back welcome reception on the beach. Marco Island’s beach is hard packed and easy to walk on, but flip-flops are also welcome. The Tuesday evening closing event will be a mix of indoor and outdoor activities with a theme of “Havana Nights” to celebrate the passion of Floridian culture.
